Co-Director of the Brain Bank at Biggs Institute for Alzheimer & Neurodegenerative Inst

Jamie Walker, MD, PhD joined the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UT Health San Antonio in 2018. She completed her pathology residency and neuropathology fellowship training at UT Southwestern.  She also received a career development award from the NIA where she spent an additional year training to be an Alzheimer Disease Center neuropathology core leader at Northwestern.  She is currently the Co-Director of the brain bank at the Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer & Neurodegenerative Diseases.  Her research focuses on primary age-related tauopathy and successful cognitive aging.
