Prerequisite Courses
Coursework Requirements
Prior to attending UT Health San Antonio, all BSN students must complete a set of prerequisite courses at a regionally accredited college of their choice. All prerequisite courses must be passed with a grade of C or higher.
Applicants must complete all math and science prerequisites (in bold in the following table) before submitting an application. Applicants may be missing up to 9 hours of non-math and non-science classes when submitting an application but must finish those remaining hours prior to starting classes at UT Health San Antonio.
Courses Taken Pass/Fail
Prerequisite courses taken as “pass/fail” or “credit/no credit” during Spring 2020, Summer 2020, and Fall 2020 terms can be accepted as long as the course is passed and credit is earned. Classes taken this way will not be included in the cumulative or prerequisite GPA. Failed courses will not be accepted, but will be included in GPA calculation.
