Give Cancer the Boot Survivorship 5K Run/Walk
On April 6, 2019, the UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center will host the 4th Annual Give Cancer Boot Survivorship 5K Run/Walk at the cancer center. This annual event’s purpose is to celebrate all of our cancer patients, cancer survivors and those affected by cancer. It's a fun-filled event that gives those battling cancer an opportunity to get out and have fun with the ones they love. The race illustrates that today’s cancer survivors continue to increase in number with better quality of life than ever before.
Everyone is welcome to participate – adults, kids, serious runners, casual walkers, healthcare providers, patients, survivors, caregivers and well-behaved dogs. The largest team and the best-dressed dog win a goody bag!
