Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden are hosting a national summit that focuses on the patient’s journey through prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
Join us for our local summit where we will be able to share information about how we are accelerating progress in prevention, cancer diagnosis, treatment and care at UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center. We will have a roundtable discussion with experts from our center, and the San Antonio broader cancer community, to discuss several of these key topics. We will also share how to provide support throughout a patient’s cancer journey.
Our goal is to bring people together to share their experiences, their ideas, and solve problems relevant to them. And we will be able to share our thoughts and ideas with those in Washington D.C.
The Biden Cancer Community Summit event is free, including parking, and open to the public. Highlights will include three moderated panels with San Antonio cancer community experts covering cancer prevention, innovation in cancer research and survivorship, breakout discussions, and a livestream of Vice President Biden’s keynote speech from Washington, D.C.
