Anusha Vaidyanathan holds a Master of Science degree in Genetic Counseling from the University of Pittsburgh. As a certified genetic counselor (CGC), Anusha works with individuals with a personal and/or family history of cancer to provide genetic risk assessment and identification of hereditary cancer syndromes, coordinate genetic testing, and educate the patient about future cancer risks and medical management options. In addition, she provides supportive psychosocial counseling for individuals and family members with hereditary cancer syndromes. Anusha is currently accepting referrals for the Cancer genetics Program’s High Risk Cancer Screening Clinic at the UT Health Cancer Center. The Cancer Genetics Program at UT Health San Antonio is in partnership with UT Medicine and the University Hospital System (UHS) to provide services to individuals and families in the San Antonio, Central and South Texas Communities.
