Dr. Tamara Simpson is an assistant professor of medicine specializing in pulmonary and critical care medicine. After completing her medical degree at the UT Health Science Center at Houston, Dr. Simpson moved to San Antonio for her residency and fellowship at the UT Health Science Center. She was chief resident in 2004. She is currently a hospitalist at University Hospital and the Audie L. Murphy Veterans Affairs Hospital, in addition to serving as the director of UT Medicine’s pulmonary and sleep clinics.
