Endodontics: Faculty Practice
We are experts at saving damaged teeth. Board-certified endodontists ― root canal specialists ― who are also on faculty at the School of Dentistry treat patients at UT Dentistry. Our experience and knowledge, including access to the latest technologies in root canal therapy, make us an ideal location for those patients who may need a root canal.
Our practice is equipped with the latest technologies for advanced endodontic care including an operating microscope, high-resolution digital radiograph and 3-D imaging cone beam computer tomography (CBCT). Patients are typically referred by other dental care providers, either from other practices at UT Dentistry or from local private practices.

Please ask your provider to submit a referral through our referral portal. A member of our staff will contact you when your referral is received.
The referral note should include a description of the needed treatment, your contact information and your diagnostic X-ray.
Once your referral is received, you will be contacted by a member of our staff to schedule a convenient appointment time. Most routine treatments are done in two visits that are scheduled subject to availability.
Our Staff
We have three faculty members who are endodontic specialists.
Payments and Insurance
We accept Medicaid for qualified patients under the age of 21 years, PPO private dental insurance, cash, checks, credit cards and CareCredit. Learn more about payment options
