Periodontics: Faculty Practice
Our practice provides the evaluation, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease. These diseases are ones of the gum and bone supporting the teeth, such as gum disease, periodontal disease, receding gums or preparation for cosmetic dentistry. We also provide the placement of dental implants. Periodontists are experts in the treatment of diseases that affect the gums and bone around teeth. Our practice provides treatment for recession of the gum tissues, gummy smiles and similar cosmetic issues. Periodontists work closely with other dentists, such as orthodontists, to provide surgical therapy and patient care in support of their treatment plans.
