Our dental practice is staffed by residents (licensed dentists receiving advanced training) under the supervision of School of Dentistry faculty. We provide evaluation, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of periodontal diseases of the gum and bone supporting the teeth, and the placement of dental implants. Periodontists are experts in the treatment of periodontal disease: ones that affect the gums and bone around teeth. Our residents are already dentists; they are learning the specialty of periodontics in this three-year residency. Our practice provides treatment for recession of the gum tissues, gummy smiles and similar dental cosmetic problems. Periodontists work closely with other dentists, such as orthodontists, to provide surgical therapy in support of their treatment plans.
You will be treated by dentists who are in their post-doctoral three-year residency program for periodontics.
We accept dental insurance from select providers. Confirm coverage with your insurance provider or ask our staff about coverage when you make an appointment. We accept cash, checks, credit cards and CareCredit.
