Located on the west side of San Antonio, we are a non-profit pediatric dental clinic providing accessible high-quality comprehensive and emergency oral health care for children ages 6 months through 17 years old. Our clinic is run by expert staff, students, pediatric residents and faculty from the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry.

  • Our Staff

    The Pediatric Dental Clinic at the Ricardo Salinas Health Center is a partnership between the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District and UT Health San Antonio’s Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry program. The clinic’s bilingual staff is managed by board-certified pediatric dental faculty. The clinic also offers clinical training for predoctoral and advanced education students from the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry.

    Payment & Eligibility

    • Medicaid and CHIP accepted
    • Fees based on income for uninsured
    • Sliding scale fee with income verification
    • Medicaid and CHIP applications available

    Have a dental emergency?

    Seek immediate treatment at the nearest emergency room or call 9-1-1 if your symptoms are life-threatening, such as:

    • Difficulty breathing,
    • Uncontrollable bleeding,
    • Severe swelling or
    • An inability to swallow.
