Sign up for a Screening
To become a patient in UT Dentistry's predoctoral student clinic, patients must first go through a screening appointment. To make a screening appointment please call 210-450-3700 or request an appointment online.
The fee for a screening is $39 and is paid at the screening appointment. Most times, a radiograph will be made as part of the screening process and patients will receive preliminary advisement of their dental needs. Although we cannot guarantee that we can provide treatment in our student clinic, knowing and understanding one's dental needs will assist patients in making informed decisions about their dental care. If a patient does not qualify for care with a student dentist, we have other clinics within UT Dentistry where patients will be referred that provide all levels of oral health care.
A patient’s predoctoral student clinic screening application will be kept on file for a period of six (6) months. During that period, applicants may be contacted for a screening appointment. Once accepted as a patient of record, the patient will be assigned to a student who will manage their oral health care.
Due to the clinical education mission of our School of Dentistry, completion of a screening appointment request does not guarantee a screening appointment. For any questions, please call 210-450-3700.
