Whether you are just starting your fertility journey or need a second opinion, you can trust that UT Health San Antonio Fertility Clinic will provide you with the continuous support and superior clinical expertise.

Physicians

Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility specialists complete rigorous training programs to become fully trained and board certified. They must complete medical school, a four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, followed by a 2- to 3-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Upon completion of fellowship, they must become board certified through both a written and oral examination. All faculty physicians within our program are board certified.  They are nationally recognized and leaders in the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

Nursing

Our specialized IVF nurses have extensive experience and knowledge of women’s health and fertility. They are responsible for the day-to-day care of our patients, coordinating IVF cycles, patient education and assisting clinical procedures. They also act as liaisons between patients and their physicians and work endlessly to advocate for our patients.

Medical Assistants

The medical assistants work with the physicians in the room during exams and procedures. They are responsible for scheduling follow-up appointments, obtaining prescription authorizations, coordinating lab work and results, and answering general questions. They help to keep our department running smoothly and are an excellent resource to help you find answers to your questions. Their passion shines throughout the department and they are always around for extra hugs and elbow bumps.

Embryologists

Our embryologists and andrologist at UT Health Fertility Clinic’s state-of-the-art laboratory play a critical role in our clinic’s success. They incorporate the newest methods and procedures in reproductive technology services.  Our lab director is board certified as a High-complexity Clinical Laboratory Director (HCLD), Embryology Laboratory Director (ELD), and Clinical Consultant (CC) by the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB).
