Heart disease is very real, don’t miss the signs

With February being American Heart Month, Dr. Dawn Hui, a cardiothoracic surgeon with UT Health San Antonio, was interviewed by KSAT 12 to spread awareness on the warning signs of heart disease, how to help prevent it and the American Heart Association’s Don’t Die of Doubt campaign.

Dr. Dawn Hui is a board-certified thoracic surgeon and a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, Southern Thoracic Surgical Association, and the Western Thoracic Surgical Association.

Her focus is the treatment of adult cardiac diseases, including coronary artery disease, thoracic aortic disease, and cardiac valvular disease at the UT Health Medical Arts and Research Center.
