Eating right and working out are great ways to stay healthy and be in shape; certain foods can even help give your brain the extra boost it needs. A recent study shows that the right diet can help reduce memory loss in older adults, even in those with higher risk for dementia. Claudia Satizabal, PhD, lead study author and assistant professor at UT Health San Antonio, discusses what nutrients help protect the brain and the impact of nutrients on the older population.

Read more about what foods and how much of them can impact your brain health and how.

Make an appointment with your primary care provider to discuss your brain health and what you can do to improve it.
