The UT Health San Antonio sports medical team will provide care for the athletes at home games throughout the season, ensuring the health and safety of each player.

Cheer on your favorite orthopaedic providers including Katherine Bartush, MD, Ken O. Kenneth-Nwosa, MD, Caitlyn Mooney, MD, Thomas DeBerardino, MD, and Philip Jacobs, MD who will be on the field treating the athletes as needed.

Offering access to UT Health San Antonio’s high-quality providers and vast services ensures each player’s medical needs are met and are prepared to succeed on and off the field.

Other key specialties available for the on-the-field medical team include UT Health San Antonio anesthesiologists, rehabilitation medicine, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, primary care physicians, emergency medicine, dentists, ophthalmologists, ear/nose/throat providers and athletic trainers. Each provider is an expert in their field and trained to respond to injuries received in a game.

"We're proud to take care of the Brahmas with our UT Health San Antonio team," said Bartush, who leads the local Brahmas medical team. "Come join us at the game and cheer them on."
