Dr. Thomas A. Rozanski received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Wake Forest University, North Carolina, and his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College, Pennsylvania. He completed his internship and residency in Urology at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma Washington and completed a fellowship in Reconstructive Urology at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
In July 2004, Dr. Rozanski completed a distinguished 21-year career in the United States Army. During his military career, COL Rozanski was the Chief of Urology and the Residency Program Director at Brooke Army Medical Center, and the Urology Consultant to the U.S. Army Surgeon General. In addition to his military academic medicine responsibilities, he is a decorated veteran having deployed multiple times with tactical medical units serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Bosnia. He currently serves as Professor in the Department of Urology at UT Health San Antonio and is the Medical Director of the MARC Urology Clinic.
Dr. Rozanski’s practice incorporates all aspects of general urology, as well as reconstruction, female urology, BPH and incontinence, and vasectomy. Dr. Rozanski has specialized expertise in the surgical management of male urethral stricture disease, reconstruction procedures and genitourinary trauma. Dr. Rozanski has published over 45 scientific papers, 9 book chapters and made many presentations at Urology seminars and meetings. He is a member of the American Urological Association, Society of Government Service Urologists, Nesbit Urological Society, and the Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons. Dr. Rozanski is certified by the American Board of Urology.
