Florimer Gomez Taveras, M.D.

Florimer Gomez, M.D., was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. She completed medical training at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in Santiago de Los Caballeros. Dr. Gomez completed her internship at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, TX. Subsequently, she completed her family medicine residency training at Waco Family Medicine Residency in Waco, Texas, where she satisfied the Spanish and Global Health track requirements. She received the May Woo Wang Award as the most compassionate physician in her class. 

Her interest includes preventive medicine, obesity, diabetes, and working with children and adults.
