Dr. MacGilvray obtained her medical degree at Medical University of South Carolina in 2002. She completed her family medicine residency training at University of Vermont Department of Family Medicine in 2005. As a U.S. Navy wife and academic physician, Dr. MacGilvray enjoyed teaching and practicing medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School and served as residency program director at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune. Dr. MacGilvray joined UT Health – San Antonio Department of Family and Community Medicine in September 2016 and currently serves as Vice Chair of Medical Student Education. As a family medicine physician, Dr. MacGilvray enjoys taking care of patients of all ages and has a special interest in women’s health.
