As a family nurse practitioner, Alison Winograd is a generalist primary care provider who evaluates, diagnoses, manages and treats a wide variety of acute and chronic health conditions. She has a strong interest in primary and preventive health care to improve long-term health outcomes and reduce costly hospitalizations. She enjoys developing longitudinal relationships with her patients to help them live happier, healthier and longer lives. She is passionate about improving health care access and quality for her patients.
Alison graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Human and Organizational Development, specializing in Health and Human Services. After several years as a health care consultant, she returned to Vanderbilt University where she graduated at the top of her class with a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, exercising, participating in outdoor activities and trying new foods.
