Endocrine neoplasia is the medical term for the hereditary condition that causes a tumor to form on one or more of the endocrine glands. These tumors can be benign or cancerous and most commonly occur on the pancreas, parathyroid and pituitary glands.

UT Health Endocrinology is the premier provider for patients with a personal or family history of endocrine neoplasia. Our patients benefit from our practice’s multidisciplinary team approach which includes the team of cancer specialists at the UT Health Cancer Center – the region’s only NCI-designated cancer center.

Our practice is staffed by board-certified physicians with decades of experience and expertise in evaluating, treating and managing these types of tumors.

We offer patients on-site lab testing and biopsy services as well as advanced imaging and scans which provide the quick, accurate results used to develop effective treatment programs that are tailored to each patient’s specific health needs.

Our customized treatment plans could include medicine, hormone therapies and surgical removal of the affected glands.
