Spine Surgery, Neurosurgical

In order to implement the latest developments in treatment and research, we have established the Spine Program — an advanced, comprehensive and multidisciplinary program constructed to evaluate, diagnose, and treat general and complex spinal conditions.

Our renowned team of neurosurgeons treats the full range of spinal nerve disorders that cause pain and disability. When conservative methods are not effective or feasible, patients rely on our back surgeons for treatment options.

We use minimally invasive techniques whenever possible and collaborate with other specialists, such as those involved in pain management and rehabilitation medicine, in order to develop a superior treatment plan designed with each patient’s specific needs in mind.

Surgical Procedures

When conservative care, physical therapy and pain medication do not relieve back pain or sciatica, or when the treatment of a spinal condition is not amenable by conservative management, such as in spine tumors, surgery should be recommended. We are experts in the following procedures:

  • Anterior lumbar interbody fusion (ALIF)
  • Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF)
  • Cervical stabilization
  • Decompression
  • Deformity correction
  • Laminectomy for tumors
  • Microdiscectomy
  • Minimally invasive spine surgery
  • Posterior stabilization
  • Transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF)
  • Transthoracic spine surgery
  • Kyphoplasty
  • Vertebrectomy
  • Vertebroplasty
