The biliary and pancreatic endoscopy procedure is also known as endoscopic retrigrade cholangiopancreatography, or ERCP. It is used by physicians to diagnose and treat problems patients may be having with the bile and pancreatic ducts. During this procedure, physicians may also utilize x-rays to assist in their evaluation.
