Coronavirus Update

If you have an emergency, please call 911

  • Due to COVID-19, the Parking Office relaxed parking policies in late March. Effective June 1, 2020, all UT Health campuses and facilities will be returning to zone specific parking. You must park in your correct zone Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7am and 5pm. Open parking will no longer be allowed during these times. As a reminder, garage parking zones are enforced at all times.

  • Parking services

    • The parking office will be open with limited hours.
    • All parking services will be by appointment only. We are now accepting appointments for 9am-12pm and 2pm-4pm Monday through Friday.  Contact the parking office at parking@uthscsa.edu or call 210-567-2793 to schedule a time.
    • If returning a permit for a refund, refunds will be processed once normal business operations have resumed.
    • If returning a permit for graduation, you may return the permit by mail or schedule an appointment.
    • Permit/parking refunds for any other reason will not be considered at this time. UT Health leadership will decide what, if any, actions to take once normal business operations have resumed.

  • Shuttle Services
    • Beginning June 1, 2020, UT Health shuttle buses will operate on a new schedule and route from 7am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays. The route will operate between the Long and Greehey campuses with seven stops. Check the shuttle bus site for an Updated Map.

    • In response to recent health concerns surrounding COVID-19, we are taking precautions to ensure our shuttle bus fleet is safe and clean for our UT Health Community.

      • Shuttle buses placed in operation are sanitized daily, in accordance with CDC guidelines, using Virex II 256 disinfectant cleaner.

      • Shuttle drivers will also wipe down handrails, grab rails, seats, and all high touch surfaces in the shuttle at the beginning of each route.

      • Shuttle buses are equipped with touchless hand sanitizer dispensers and seats have been cordoned off to enforce social distancing guidelines.

      • Signage will inform riders that masks are required to board the shuttle bus.

If you have any other questions about police and parking services, please email utpolice@uthscsa.edu.
