Due to concerns around COVID-19, Fingerprinting services are not available at this time.
UT Police provides fingerprint services to individuals in need of non-electronic submission fingerprints. Fingerprints are typically requested when applying for professional licenses and may also be requested for a variety of other unique reasons. We use an FBI-approved digital scanner and printer to capture and print out one or more copies for you as needed. If you require ink fingerprints, you can try the following location between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Fingerprint card from the requesting agency. We can provide a generic FD-258 10-fingerprint card if needed. Some requesting agencies may require fingerprints to be submitted on a different type of card, so please check with them before requesting fingerprints.
Fees and payment
We charge $10, payable by cash, check or debit/credit card. If the card is returned because the agency cannot read the prints, we will take prints again at no cost to you as long as you have your original receipt from our office.
8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday
No appointment is needed. Please allow time in case there are others waiting for fingerprints.
