Briscoe Library sponsoring student contests

Submissions are now being judged for the 2019 P.I. Nixon Danny Jones History of the Health Sciences Essay Award. The winner will be announced by March 1. Watch for an opportunity to hear a presentation by our winner later in the spring.

Also, the next Image of Research (IoR) Photography Competition will be open soon. The library has set an earlier date and shorter submission period this year so that it can hold a combined award reception for both our essay and IoR winners. Submissions this year begin on Feb. 18 with a March 18 deadline. Prizes for the IoR competition total $1,500.
