New voicemail service coming May 6

The new Cisco Unity voicemail system will be activated across UT Health San Antonio May 6. The new system with upgraded technology enables integration with Office 365 online email and helps maintain support for phone system software. This change will allow access and management of voicemail through multiple methods and devices.

You will now access your voice mail with your Jabber Client on your desktop and mobile phone, and you’ll continue to receive email notifications when you have a voicemail. If you do not have Cisco Jabber for mobile devices, contact the Service Desk at 567-7777, opt 1, to have a request submitted to enable it for you. You will also need to download the app on your phone.

All voicemail users will be moved to the new system May 3-5. If you want a custom greeting, you will have to access your voicemail box on May 6 to record the greeting.

Contact the Service Desk, 7-7777 opt 1, with questions or concerns.
