Think Science and Discovery Day coming to the Tobin Center


UT Health San Antonio is partnering with Texas Public Radio and the Tobin Center for a Think Science and Discovery Day Aug. 10 at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts.

The event precedes the Science Friday Live with Ira Flatow that will take place that evening.

Think Science and Discovery Day is a free, public event from 4 to 6:30 p.m. It will showcase scientific innovations and discoveries through interactive exhibits and booths.

Various UT Health San Antonio entities will have a total of eight booths. Activities will include DNA candy models, directions on building a powerful microscope, creating “brain hats,” exploring the respiratory function, an organ matching game and more.
