UTPD working to make campus safer with Coffee with Cops

UTPD shared a cup of coffee with hundreds of faculty, staff and students on Feb. 6 in their campus community program called Coffee with Cops.

This new program is aimed at building better relationships between members of our university police force and the campus community as we work collaboratively to improve the overall safety at our multiple locations. This program brings together officers and our campus community members – over coffee – to discuss issues and learn more about each other.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this successful community outreach project. There are more planned events like this one coming in 2019.
