We win UT System’s Fall Wellness Challenge

Congratulations to UT Health San Antonio for winning the 2018 Fall Wellness Challenge open to all UT System institutions. This follows our winning the 2018 Keep UT System Active Challenge and the UT System Health Trails Fall 2017 Challenge.

UT Health San Antonio won in the medium-sized institution category.

The health and wellness program, led at our university by the School of Nursing, is aimed at improving our employees overall health and health awareness by participating in many fitness and well-being focused activities.

Heather Wesling, staff member at the School of Nursing, organized the program for the campus. “The activity challenge focuses us to make better choices on living a healthier lifestyle,” she said.

Thank you to our staff and faculty at our School of Nursing who are supporting a culture of health and wellness for us all.
