F-Troop is designed to help trainees who are planning to submit fellowships and career development awards. It is meant to be a “hands-on, iterative grant writing workshop and there are three cycles every year starting January, May and September. F-Troop is designed so that its ending coincides with the three submission deadlines every year for NIH F fellowships (April 08, August 08, December 08).

F-Troop is most helpful for those who already planning to submit applications and who, more than likely, already have some understanding of the NIH and other funding agencies and how they work.
