Office of Research Administration & Quality

Supports faculty and staff with disclosing conflicts of interest and foreign collaborations. Provides administrative support for the Research Protection Programs.

The Office of Research Administration & Quality is an administrative support office for the Research Protection Programs within the Office of the Vice President for Research.

Services the ORAQ provides include:

  • Coordination of research conflict of interest reporting and management. Learn more about Conflict of Interest.
  • Assistance with iDisclose software.
  • Oversight and assistance with federal export control regulations. Learn more about Export Controls.
  • Management of regulatory compliance and accreditation activities of the Research Protection Programs.
  • Administration of post-approval research study monitoring for Office of the IRB, Office of Clinical Research and Clinical Trials Office.
  • Development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives. 
  • Development of education materials and training programs for the UT Health SA research community.
