Patients rely on our board-certified experts for reliable, minimally invasive endoscopic procedures for diagnosing and treating diseases of the throat, stomach, and digestive system.

Flexible endoscopy is a reliable, minimally invasive technique used to diagnose and treat a variety of gastrointestinal problems such as stomach pain, reflux, GERD, ulcers, gastritis, difficulty swallowing, digestive tract bleeding, changes in bowel habits and polyps.

The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis within our practice and takes about 30 minutes to complete. While the patient is under light sedation, one of our surgeons will guide a small, flexible tube with a light and camera on the tip through the area of concern. The endoscopy allows our surgeons to visualize the organs for diagnoses, to take biopsies, or to make repairs.

Most patients are able to return to their normal routine the next day. If any tests or biopsies were performed during the procedure, the results may be available the same day.
