The Department of Comprehensive Dentistry is comprised of more than 30 dedicated faculty and staff committed to excellence in teaching, research, patient care, and service. Our advanced education programs include prosthodontics, oral and maxillofacial radiology, and dental public health. In addition, we provide comprehensive predoctoral education in oral medicine.
Research
Our scientists have produced some of the most influential research publications in modern dentistry and continue to expand the scope of inquiry across a wide range of oral and systemic conditions. We are leaders in the discovery and advancement of evidence-based practice, with recognized expertise in epidemiological research, basic science investigation, and clinical trials.
