The FM Mission

 

The mission of Facilities Management is to develop and maintain an exceptional facility environment and to provide world class services to support the university's educational, clinical and research goals for the benefit of society. A wide variety of services and a diversity of work skills are essential to provide services which support more than 2.8 million gross square feet of space in buildings located on the main campus, the Greehey Academic Research campus, the Texas Research Park, and facilities located in the Rio Grande Valley. The campus community is served by approximately 315 Facilities Management employees working to provide the following services:
