Greehey Campus Construction Notice - Addition of Parking Lot # 30
As part of the Allied Health Renovation Project, Facilities Management will add a parking lot (#30) adjacent to the Research Administration Building on the Greehey Campus.
This project will begin in early May and will continue through July. During this time, it will be necessary to reroute pedestrian traffic traveling between the Research Administration Building and the area of Parking Lot #17 . For safety purposes, a portion of the existing walking/running trail will also be temporary closed.
All public building entrances will remain open and detour routes will be posted. Please use caution while traveling within this area and be especially alert for flag persons, construction barricades and traffic signage. Please refer to the diagram below for detour information.
If you have questions or concerns about this project, please contact Dwight Beckingham, Construction Project Manager, at 567-2880.

Reroute of Traffic Near Central Energy Plant
As part of the Health Science Center’s ongoing commitment to maintain our campus infrastructure to serve the critical mission of our institution, Facilities Management will soon begin a project to replace cooling towers at the Central Energy Plant. This project will replace two cooling towers which were built in the late 1960’s with a much more modern, efficient, and safer cooling tower system.
This project will begin in early February and will continue through May. During this time, it will be necessary to
reroute traffic around the Central Energy Plant. All public building entrances and parking lots will remain open and available for use. However, please use caution while traveling within this area and be especially alert for flag persons, construction barricades and traffic signage. Please refer to the traffic diagram below for detour information.
If you have questions or concerns about this project, please contact Jason Lambert, P.E., Construction Project Manager, at 213-8649.
